WONDER WHAT IT'S LIKE TO ESCAPE FROM NORTH KOREA?

We've all heard stories about people escaping North Korea for a better life... and today in Seoul (South Korea), I was able to sit down with one ambitious North Korean girl named Nara, to hear the struggles that she went through.

Long story short, Nara escaped North Korea in 2015 by swimming over the river into China. Then, she illegally entered Thailand without a passport, where she was thrown in jail for 1 month. After getting in touch with the South Korean embassy, they granted her citizenship and allowed her to move to Seoul.|
