What is the current situation with Wall Street stocks and government bonds?

Wall Street stocks, led by US regional bank shares and Apple, experienced a rebound on Friday. The S&P 500 stock index rose 1.9%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite closed 2.3% higher. Meanwhile, government bond prices sank after strong jobs data revived concerns that the Federal Reserve would keep interest rates higher for longer. The US economy added 253,000 jobs in April, more than the expected 180,000, and the unemployment rate slid to 3.4%.
