America was NOT built on STOLEN LAND! 🤓🤝🌎

Western Europeans were pushed into the same game Native Americans were playing with each other for thousands of years: Tribal Warfare 101.
25% of the original settlers who came to the new world were murdered by Native Americans. Settlements outside of highly fortified military forts were considered a death sentence. Europeans realized we could not live in peace here unless we fought back. It turned out that whites were better warriors than the natives.

Because of historical hatred between tribes, the Native Americans were unwilling to come together to fight us off, if they did they likely would have won. Europeans understood this and used a military strategy still used today: the enemy of my enemy is my friend. We armed the opposing tribes who were more than happy to slaughter the tribes that were slaughtering innocent white settlers. If those Natives became a problem later, we armed their enemies. Rinse, wash, repeat.

The history of violence between tribes was so extensive it makes land reparations a tricky subject. Give one tribe the land and the next tribe will claim they had it before them but were slaughtered for it. Give that tribe the land and another tribe will claim before them they had it. This becomes a never-ending loop.

There were no societies in America before the white man came. No cities. No suburbs. No towns. Due to constant tribal skirmishes this was impossible and tribes practiced a nomadic lifestyle, not just to follow the Buffalo migration (since they never learned to domesticate livestock or properly farm and plan for seasons), but also because the very real threat of raids and tribal genocide was always looming.

Claiming that it's unfair that Europeans, who were better at Tribal Warfare than the people who engaged the Europeans in Tribal Warfare, is ridiculous and sore loser BS! This was the game the natives wanted to play and they lost. The rules of that game were the same rules they played under with opposing tribes: If we win, we take the land. Fair is fair.

Also, bear in mind the vast majority of Native Americans died from viruses Europeans had. It was not intentional, or deliberate bloodshed. The claim that Europeans slaughtered the Native Americans to near extinction has no basis in historical fact.

America was not built on “Stolen Land.” 94.6% of the USA is rural open space even TODAY. Besides the horseless nomad tribes killing each others food (American Indians were Terrible Farmers & Overrated Hunters) the land was empty wilderness and many tribes were starving due to their lack of hunting and farming skills.

Europeans built America.
