Haean and Chungmu-dong Coastal Market - Local Seafood Markets - Busan South Korea 2023

As South Korea’s largest port city, it’s no wonder Busan is famous for its fresh, finger-licking good seafood. Whether it’s crab, eel or shells you’re after you won’t have to look far.

Busan is home to some of the most celebrated seafood markets in Korea. Here is a seafood market that you can experience like a local.

This area seemed to be several markets that would run together. With it all being in Korean the markets that I was able to get names for were Chungmu-dong Coastal Market and Haean Market at Chungmudong. Whatever the name of the market is it’s a great place to explore and see what is available. If you find something you like they will cook it on the spot for you.
