Albert Einstein, a German-born physicist who developed the special and general theories of relativity and won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921 for his explanation of the photoelectric effect, was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Württemberg, Germany, and died on April 18, 1955, in Princeton, New Jersey, in the United States. Most people agree that Einstein was the most important physicist of the 20th century.

At the Royal Prussian Academy of Sciences in Berlin in November 1915, Albert Einstein delivered a series of lectures on his general theory of relativity.

It was the result of years of work that had started with four ground-breaking publications published in 1905:

-based on his quantum theory of light, according to which light is a particle or photon;
-On the Brownian movement and the existence of atoms;
-Regarding his special relativity theory, which postulates that time and length are relative and dependent on the frame of reference of the observer,
-E=MC2, the equation for which he is best known, states that energy is related to mass and the speed of light.

Nuclear power, in particular, is based on the fact that a tiny particle of matter may produce enormous amounts of energy.

Just consider it. When he was only 26 years old, he published these papers. Never again would science be the same. Einstein's theory that space and time are dynamic and warped, changing how objects and light move, shocked the physics community ten years later.
His general theory of relativity, or his unified description of gravity, was based on this hypothesis.
