The authority of the church & Servant leadership

Our authority in the church (the Body of Christ) is derived from Jesus as the head of the church.
Eph 1:22-23 (NIV) And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
1 Cor 12:28 (ESV) And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.
