How to Upgrade a Hard Drive on a Softmodded Original Xbox | Xbox Softmod HDD Upgrade Tutorial

Tired of dealing with the 8 or 10 GB hard drive sitting in your softmodded Xbox? Why not upgrade it? This much requested tutorial breaks down the steps and shows you how to pick out a compatible hard drive, select the tools you need, and clone your current setup to a new drive successfully using Chimp 261812!

Keep in mind this will require several different pieces of hardware and software, and it does require a "hotswap" meaning you will have to disconnect your DVD drive and connect it to your new hard drive while the console is running. If done properly, everything will be successful, but keep in mind there is a risk of causing physical damage to your hardware if done improperly! This tutorial assumes you are aware of the risks and are willing to proceed.
