2023 Bulverde Run For The Hills - Starting the 10k / 5k Races #running #bulverdetx #reactintl

This is the 2nd of multiple videos from the 2023 Bulverde Run For The Hills 10k / 5k / 1 mile race. This event benefited the Bulverde - Spring Branch Community Activity Center. This particular video covers the start of the 10k & 5k races. It combines footage from a GoPro camera (recorded by Jeff Dillon) and a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone.

You will see runway 16 for Bulverde Airpark 1T8, almost in direct line with the road used for the race. We coordinated with Anderson Aviation and monitored their CTAF frequency 122.800 while the drone was in the air, to be sure the drone wasn't near their approach path whenever an airplane was landing.
