The Allen Premium Outlets is now a massive crime scene as police, FBI and ATF investigate the tragedy.

Several law enforcement agencies responded to a deadly shooting at an Allen outlet mall Saturday afternoon.

During a news conference held Saturday night, Allen Fire Chief J. Boyd confirmed nine people have died, including the shooter, and seven people are still being treated in area hospitals.

Medical City Healthcare told WFAA that they were treating eight of the victims ranging from 5 to 61 years old. It is unclear which of those victims are deceased.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the first responders, victims, their loved ones, and the North Texas community during this tragic event," the facility said.

According to officials, the shooting occurred at about 3:36 p.m. at Allen Premium Outlets, 820 W. Stacy Road.

Witnesses told WFAA they saw the shooter near the location of the Fatburger restaurant in the mall complex.

Additionally, they described the shooter as dressed in all black.
