Master Hunter and Tracker (Part 1)

This is a warrior character build designed for a balanced and dominant approach to the battlefield. Depending on which race you choose, I would recommend developing Light Armor if there is a racial bonus for that and also focusing on dual-wielding one handed weapons. Except in the case of an Imperial or Nord. In which case you could effectively choose Heavy Armor and one handed dual-wielding, or Light Armor and two handed weapons respectively. This comes at the cost of developing Block, so attacking or evading at an ideal range and watching your surroundings closely are both critical to success.

-Race: Orc (recommended). Although any race with at least two corresponding skill bonuses would work fine. Like a Nord, Imperial, Wood Elf, Dark Elf or Redguard.

-Stat Allocation: 50% Health, 50% Stamina, 0% Magicka. Until Level 41, when you should have 300 Health and Stamina. At that point, focus entirely on increasing Health.

-Primary Skills: Smithing, Two Handed, Heavy Armor. All three of these skills should be fully developed at higher levels, but it's fine to specialize in one type of melee weapon to save perk points.

-Secondary Skill: Archery. It would be best to at least develop the right-side perks. Avoid Steady Hand and Bullseye as the slow motion and combat-based paralyze effects tend to glitch.

-Tertiary Skills: Alteration or Enchanting. When you've attained "effective mastery" in all four of your starting skills (meaning that a master trainer can't teach you any more), pick one of these two to develop next.

If you pick Alteration, you want to choose all of the perks, but the main reason you'll focus on this magic school is to develop the Atronach and Magic Resistance perks.

Alternately, choosing Enchanting allows for some versatility in making new gear for either yourself or your followers. In addition to gaining access to scores of effects that will aid in your magical defense. If you intend on developing this skill later, start learning Enchanting effects and hoard every filled soul gem you find, early in the game.
