Banjo, as we call him, is a 4yr old, 16.1 hand registered Gypsy Drum gelding that we have owned for the past 6 months. We bought Banjo directly from the breeder so we know where he was all his life. Banjo has been pampered all his life. He is very well trained to ride and drive. Banjo picks up both his leads and has a great stop. He will walk, trot and has a very smooth canter. Banjo is uncomplicated to ride and has a very easy handle. He has been on the lead line to teach children how to ride. Banjo has been ridden on trails by complete beginners and also has been ridden by older folks. He is very friendly and loves all the attention you can possibly give him. Banjo is gentle enough for anyone to get along with him. Banjo is child safe and will take care of his rider every time. Banjo rides in the arena or outside. Banjo rides in a group or rides out by himself and never raises a fuss. Did I mention Banjo also drives the best? He drives single and he also drives double. We have hooked Banjo and his half brother Bingo to the wagon and have gone down the highway for a stroll. Banjo is the more laid back type that does not get easily excited. My two-year-old son can get him out of his stall and lead him around the barnyard and crawl all over him and between all his legs and Banjo does not mind at all. We have exposed Banjo to bouncy balls, flapping tarps and all kinds of obstacles and he does not mind any of it. Banjo stands to be tacked and mounted and to be washed and brushed. Banjo is currently barefoot. He stands for the farrier and will patiently stand tied as long as you please. We have taken Banjo up in the mountains and down the main highway; he is traffic safe and a seasoned trail horse. We have hauled Banjo to national parks for all day trail rides and he enjoys every bit of it. I could brag on and on about him but feel free to call me anytime with more questions. Banjo is up-to-date with farrier and dewormer and had his teeth done 12.2.22 Banjo sells safe and 100% sound and is ready to move into his forever home
