Ruffed Grouse Vs. House Window {That was loud.} \\ [Spring 2023, Quebec Canada]

I was sleeping on the couch when I heard a very big bang into the window...
For a second I was wondering if someone threw a fairly big rock at it.
By the look of it she flew in at a 45° angle and bounced off the window onto the ground!
BUT WHY??

This short video is a bit messy but it is currently 5h40am the morning and I forgot to plan a short video for this week so...
