reF00D is an awesome kernel plugin for the PS Vita and PSTV which allows you to play any games or applications which require a higher firmware on your lower firmware console. This will require a Vita system which has been modified with some variant of HENkaku as well as a small setup of 2 files on your system to activate the plugin. Once reF00D has been set up, you can easily and effortlessly play your higher firmware games! From my testing this has worked just fine with cartridge based games, officially installed game, and games played through NoNpDrm. This tutorial's example is my higher firmware cartridge based game playing on a 3.60 HENkaku Ensō modified PSTV.

This tutorial also assumes you have a Vita console set up with HENkaku or h-encore and have the basic understanding of how to transfer files as well as modify your config.txt file to load plugins through the taiHEN engine.
