[OLD] How to Install h-encore² on PS Vita & PSTV - Firmware 3.74 or Lower!

h-encore² from TheFloW is the latest homebrew enabler for Vita consoles of all variants for any firmware from 3.65 to 3.74. This modification allows you to install and launch third party homebrew games, applications, load kernel plugins, and truly unlock the full potential of the Vita. This tutorial will show you how to update to firmware 3.65 if you are on an earlier version and how to install h-encore²!

Although this video is demonstrated on firmware 3.72 this method was not patched in the 3.74 firmware update. This means this tutorial and all the same programs can be used on firmware 3.74! Due to this, the tutorial will not be updated, due to the tools and methods being the same as long as FinalHE v1.92 or higher is used.

Thanks to HENkaku's version spoofing you can still get online while retaining an older firmware, so once your console is modified this should not be much of an issue. If you are on firmware 3.65 you also have the opportunity to install Ensō to make your custom firmware apply on boot as opposed to running h-encore on every bootup!
