Ukraine is about to launch its much anticipated counter offensive. Probing attacks along the frontlines in Zaporizhia region are constantly increasing. Elsewhere on the front, Leopard tanks have been seen in Odessa

Meanwhile the head of Wagner PMC has released several controversial videos in which he has made a variety of claims. Prigozhin states that Ukraine is losing 400-600 soldiers daily in Bakhmut and that Ukraine is also sending that many soldiers into the city on a daily basis.

Prigozhin also complains about a lack of support & supplies from the Russian military, ranting angrily that his soldiers are dying unnecessarily. At the same time Prigozhin has stated that if they do not receive the required support, that Wagner will withdraw from Bakhmut on May 10th, 2023, in 4 days.

Currently, according to Prigozhin, Ukrainian forces only controls approximately 2.5 square blocks in Bakhmut. Despite these claims about a possible Wagner withdrawal, all reports seem to indicate that Russia is sending more troops & supplies to Bakhmut & that Wagner has launched a final assault on Ukraine's last remaining positions in the city.

The Russians seem to be determined to take all of Bakhmut before the May 9th, Victory Day celebrations, commemorating the Soviet Union's victory in WW2. The Russians, using the much feared TOS flamethrower system, along with GPS guided, FAB-500, glide bombs are ruthlessly incinerating (fire bombing) all the areas of Bakhmut which are still under Ukrainian control
