Over the past few decades, the visibility and recognition of transgender people has significantly increased, leading to what is often referred to as the "rise of the trans people." Transgender individuals are those whose gender identity does not align with the sex they were assigned at birth, and they have faced a long history of discrimination and marginalization. However, recent years have seen a growing awareness and acceptance of transgender people, particularly in Western countries.
