❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on May 4-5.

▪️Ukrainian forces again used drones to attack civilian facilities on Russian territory.

In Rostov region, a drone crashed into an overpass near a fuel storage tank under construction at the Novoshakhtinsk refinery and caused a fire which was promptly extinguished.

▪️In neighboring Krasnodar region, the Il’skiy oil refinery was struck by UAVs over the course of two days.

The attack resulted into destruction of a fuel tank and damaging of the fifth installation. Civilians were not injured.

▪️Another Ukrainian Shark-type drone was intercepted in Voronezh regiont.

The drone crashed over the territory of a military unit in the town of Buturlinovka, and then exploded. According to preliminary information, there was no damage.

▪️For several days, Ukrainian forces shelled the Bryansk region border territories.

In the village of Polevye Novoselki, several residential buildings were damaged: five people were wounded, a woman lost a limb.

▪️Southeast of Bilohorivka, Akhmat-Sever units cut into the enemy defenses near a compressor station.

Having repulsed all the AFU attempts to encircle the grouping, the Russian soldiers entrenched themselves to the east of the quarry.

▪️On the western outskirts of Bakhmut, the Wagner PMC assault groups continue to fight in residential areas. The enemy retains approximately 6% of the city.

At the same time, the head of the Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin announced the withdrawal of his units from the village on May 10 due to the constant shelling and heavy losses.

▪️Ukrainian forces reconnoitered the battle at Mykil's'ke and attempted to develop an offensive in the direction of Pavlivka.

The Russian units countered all the enemy attacks forcing them to retreat to their original lines suffering losses.
