John the Baptist Saw the Season We're In

Did John the Baptist get it wrong, or was he way more prophetic than he ever realized? He seemed confused when the Messiah was revealed because Jesus wasn't the Warrior King he had seen prophetically. John was seeing Jesus in the end times, and the servant priest he heard stories about didn't add up. But he could not deny the miracles that were taking place.
