Learn to Meditate God’s Word Concerning Your Situation

Meditating God’s word over your situation will get those scriptures firmly fixed in your heart, not just in your mind.

Meditating God’s Word is actually one of the most misunderstood and yet most powerful steps to walk in line with God’s will for our lives. Let me explain.

Joshua 1:7-8 - KJV
7Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. 8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

The Greek word used here for Meditate means: to recite, to moan, growl, utter, speak, muse

See, meditating the word of God is NOT focusing on what you are thinking. It is not setting your mind on those scriptures and being positive-minded.

Meditating the word is focusing on speaking the word! Using your mouth to release your faith in God’s word.

Let’s do this together with one of my favorite scriptures, Romans 8:14 - for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

See, it is just that easy. So now you find these scriptures for your situation and begin to meditate on them to get them in you. This is building the Word of God in your spirit.
