Watch: Our Cape Town Heritage hosted Islamic wedding traditions exhibition

South Africa Cape Town 05-May - 2023 - The first formal exhibition by a non-profit organization, Our Cape Town Heritage (OCTH) proved a huge success. Last night, young and old, those warmly familiar and some a little less with the Cape Malay tradition of reciting the salawaat at the end of a Muslim wedding, gathered at the KnexT Art Gallery, to view photographic works by local photographer Rizqua Barnes who had beautifully captured the decades-old tradition.
