In this video, together with the soldiers of the 1st Assault Battalion of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, we will show what a day at the positions of our troops near Bakhmut looks like. When the enemy is in the sights every day, its attacks are repulsed with fire or counter attacks.

Via the established communication channel, the fighters are adjusting the mortar crew. After that – loading up and accurate work on the enemy’s positions. The bodies of the liquidated occupants remain on the frozen ground for a long time. Passing them, we head to the nearby dugouts, where the enemy recently worked with RPGs. The return shots will not make you wait long.

“They hit us, we hit them. Everything is as it should be. So, it’s nothing, really. Will give them more. They were shooting at us with RPGs, at our position. Now we are adjusting our guys so they can shoot back. Everything will be ok!” – the fighter tells.

The surrounding villages were almost completely destroyed by enemy shellings. Despite the constantly moving front line, civilian residents are still staying in the settlements near Bakhmut. For some of them, the decision to evacuate is a too difficult one. At the last moment, the fighters hear a refusal.

About life in a combat zone, live frontline dialogues and survival of civilians in war conditions - watch in the new video from the trenches of Bakhmut.
