Making a Damascus EDC Bowie hunting knife

Just finished this one up for your viewing pleasure, the blade was forged from an end cut off of a Damascus billet I forged a couple years ago, I forged the blade itself in Alaska for practice and never really thought about finishing it, and had forgotten about it until I was going through some things in my workshop and found it still wrapped in the bubble wrap with some other blanks down behind my workbench. The guard is textured mild steel, and the handle is made from black walnut that was a failed wooden spoon project my wife and I were working on a couple years back. So all in all this knife was made from scraps that normally would have been cast aside and forgotten. I'm pretty happy with the results. #Bowieknife #metalart #forging #forgedinfire #bladesmithing #knifemaking
