While touring through an old Virginia mansion with a dear friend years
ago, I found myself descending the circular stairway to the main floor. I drug my hand along the gorgeous wood rail until I reached the bottom post.
On top of the little post at the end, I noticed a small colored glass, somewhat like a marble, and I felt it with my fingers. Getting the tour guide's attention, I asked, why is this Glass marble on top of this post?
She told us something very interesting that I've always remembered. It was the custom in those days that when you paid your mortgage, you put that glass marble on the end of your staircase. So that when you came down every morning, you would feel it and remember that your house was paid in full.

The message was loud and clear from when Jesus appeared to Mary until he ascended 40 days later. Each time he encountered his disciples and taught them more about the kingdom of God, the message was the same.
Everything you lost in the garden through Adams's fall has been paid for and redeemed back to you. Jesus said you lost your identity and authority, and by my sacrifice, I have paid it in full, and it is now yours again.
Sure put a marker or a signet OK somewhere in your daily life that will remind you your mortgage has been paid in full because of Jesus.
