Disney will likely HAVE to look at slamming the BRAKES on future Marvel productions

According to Box Office Pro and Deadline Magazine box office tracking of pre-sales leading into the opening weekend, Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 3 will have a TERRIBLE opening weekend for a film this size and the pacing, given previous marvel entries, would EASILY put this Marvel Studios / Disney film on track to be ANOTHER FINANCIAL LOSS

If Guardians finishes up between $600-650M Globally, that would put losses to Disney around $100M. If the box office CRASHES below $600M Disney will likely look to SLAM THE BRAKES on future Marvel cinematic universe projects.
