Out of all possible ratings: Terrible, Bad, Average, Good, Great....

My rating, based upon my playthrough experience, Control on PC is: Average!
On Consoles, it is: Good!

The reason for the split score is because the game is buggy on PC. When it launched in 2019, I played it on PS4 Pro and there weren't any bugs of any significance. Being far more stable than the PC release, it still had a confusing map layout, making it hard to tell where your objective was and how to get there, an interactive 3D map could have solved this problem. Being able to tell where you are on the map and the paths to your objective is very important in Control because the game world's layout is disorienting at best, and sometimes confusing. That is how Control missed the Great score.
On PC, the bugs are legion: CTDs, freezes, the anchor fight, and various other problems that make this version unpredictable. Numerous times while recording I had to merge several videos into one episode because the game crashed so much. Maybe some of you didn't have the problem on PC, I did, and many others did as well judging by the comments I read. Sorry, Remedy. Make your next efforts more stable, you certainly have the creative talent and coding skills.

Control is available on Xbox, Playstation, Switch, and PC.
