“The Churchill Club” You know what this is. But This other bad boy is a little lesser known. it was the symbol painted on a lot of buildings in World war 2 by a gang of resistance fighters named the churchill club. obviously named after winston churchill, the group of 8 children were from a fancy prep school in Denmark. their parents had never even seen the inside of a prison, so imagine their surprise when they received a phone call that their spoiled well mannered well edjucated wonderful children were actually, terrorizing germans during the second year of Germany's occupation of Denmark. They cut phone lines. They stole guns and other weapons which they didn't know how to use but somehow figured out how to turn them into bombs which they in turn used to bomb railway carts carrying airplane wings. one week later they were thrown in prison but managed to escape for 19 consecutive nights to wreak further havok before they were eventually caught. the churchill club fought their german oppressors all the way up until wars end in 1945.
