Fox News ratings plummet after Tucker Carlson's firing, dropping to second place with 1.332 million viewers in the 8 p.m. ET hour, behind MSNBC's All In with Chris Hayes. This is concerning for Fox News, which has been the most-watched network for years, and puts pressure on the network to find a permanent replacement for Carlson. Last Friday, Carlson's last night, he drew a total audience of 2.65 million viewers. The trend continued as his viewership decreased to 1.3 million viewers on Wednesday, only 50% of his audience from five days earlier.
