Former UC Davis student arrested in connection to recent stabbings

Carlos Dominguez, 21, was arrested Thursday in connection with three recent stabbings near the University of California Davis. The stabbings occurred from April 27 to May 3, leaving two dead and the city on high alert. Davis Police Chief Darren Pytel confirmed the arrest in a press conference Thursday afternoon, adding that Dominguez, a former student “up until last week”, was taken into custody Wednesday night after found with a large knife in his backpack.
