Special Crispy Fried Chicken Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.
2. Dip the chicken pieces in the buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture to coat evenly.
3. Heat the oil in a deep-fryer or large pot to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
4. Fry the chicken, a few pieces at a time, until golden brown and cooked through, about 12-15 minutes for larger pieces and 8-10 minutes for smaller pieces.
5. Drain the fried chicken on paper towels to remove excess oil and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious and crispy fried chicken!
