S A B O T A G E

A live performance from S A B O T A G E to mark the closing of jas singh’s solo exhibition ‘hippocratic / hypocrite’ at Attenborough Arts Centre in Leicester. The exhibition marks a major step in jas’ practice, bringing together autobiographical explorations across a multi-screen presentation that is activated by visitors moving around the space. Visitors are invited to interact with the installation and respond to the questions that jas poses in his work: how is identity constructed, and by whom? How do our identities affect how we are perceived by others?

This live performance will act as a second chapter to the work presented at Attenborough Arts. A live 15 minute sonic and audio visual performance is in response to data collected during the exhibition from peer and audience feedback.

This is a hybrid event supported by Arts Council England - Attenborough Arts Centre and Disability Arts Online.
