The rapture before the time of Jacob's trouble

Focusing on the soon rapture gets you to prepare to meet God and reach others with the gospel while you can. Focusing on going through the time of Jacob's trouble gets you to focus on yourself: surviving, meeting the antichrist, and resisting the mark of the beast. Know them by their fruits.

(Joh 6:28) Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
(Joh 6:29) Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

(Joh 5:24) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
