MZTV 1205: The Great Acts 28 Marriage Deception

One of the features of the "Acts 28" theory is that it requires us to relegate Paul's marriage advice in 1 Corinthians chapter 7 to a bygone era. According to the Clyde Pilkington/Stephen Hill branch of the Acts 28 deception, Paul's advice to married people to hold loosely to one another in comparison to their holding of Christ, is obsolete. It is replaced, they say, with a husband actually LOVING his wife (Ephesians 5), as though Paul's recommendation to hold loosely would require one to withhold true love from his wife.

It is more clear to me than ever that one of the chief attractions of the Acts 28 deception to those forwarding it is that it allows them to ignore Paul's "the era is limited" teaching in 1 Corinthians 7 and to throw themselves wholly into marriage and parenting, which they clearly love more than the return of Christ.
