5 Minutes or Less- How Fear is Used to Control Our Children.

Recently I've become aware of politicians and others in power using the buzzwords of "safety" and "protection" while speaking to youth. In the past month I attended two engagements where adult students displayed noticeable fragility in being unable to respectfully listen to different view points.
Middle and High school students are often talking about their mental health and need to be kept "safe" and our locally our governor has made a point of touring schools to display his empathy to young people.

This safety has sadly and often had a political bent to it. And I've noticed that for all the talk about building strength and resilience, youth are becoming more reliant on something other than themselves.

Maturity is about realizing the world does not revolve around you, and also doing what you can with what you have to improve your circumstances. But our young people are instead wanting and demanding more things for free. It seems everything is now a HUMAN RIGHT.

In this video I want to draw a picture of where unreasonable fear can lead. I also hope to make it clear that committed parents can change the trajectory.
I truly believe that politicians, school officials, and many therapist are trying to replace "traditional families" and that the family is the biggest threat to those that would divide us as Humans.
