Tucker's Leaked Texts Expose Fox News And Republicans BIG TIME

Leaked texts of Tucker Carlson expressing violent fantasies about an Antifa member have surfaced. In the texts, Carlson described watching a video of three men attacking an Antifa member and said that he was initially disturbed because "that's not how white men fight." However, he said that as he continued watching, he was horrified by how much he wanted the men to kill the Antifa guy.

The text message, sent on January 7, 2021, the day after the Capitol riot, was discovered as part of a lawsuit filed against Fox News by Dominion Voting Systems. Dominion is suing Fox News for $1.6 billion for defamation, alleging that the network spread false claims about the company's role in the 2020 election.

Carlson's text message is just the latest in a series of scandals that have plagued Fox News in recent years. In 2017, the network was forced to pay $20 million to settle a lawsuit filed by former host Gretchen Carlson, who accused then-CEO Roger Ailes of sexual harassment. And in 2019, Fox News was fined $2 million by the FCC for violating the Fairness Doctrine by airing false claims about the caravan of Central American migrants.

Carlson's firing and the Dominion scandal are major blows to Fox News, which has long been one of the most popular cable news networks in the United States. However, it is also a sign that the network is finally starting to face some consequences for its years of spreading right-wing misinformation, misleading Republican propaganda, and hate speech.
