There's such a sense of urgency when you're triggered. But hold on for a moment and despite it, take deep, calming breaths in and long, clearing breaths out. Remind yourself that there is no fire burning and everything is okay. So that you can surrender to the gentle embrace of dreams.

Something’s under your skin,

Your heart is racing inside.

Your mind is spinning,

With all the scenarios,

You feel like you want to hide.

So take a deep breath in,

And slow yourself down,

There’s something hidden underneath.

Your ego is reacting,

It feels threatened somehow.

It’s time to observe what’s beneath.
