Shemia Fagan, Oregon’s Secretary of State, has resigned after a consulting contract with a marijuana chain linked to her political campaign sparked controversy. “I exercised poor judgment by contracting with a company that is owned by my political donors and is regulated by an agency that was under audit by my audit's division,” Fagan said in an apology video uploaded to YouTube Wednesday.
