(3/28/23 HCSB MEETING) This video shows the intense and comical debate that surrounded the decision of the Hernando County School Board to finally (after a year) to remove Alice Sebold's "Lucky" from the Hernando County School District.

Spoiler Alert - This book was at my school until Moms For Liberty and the cowboy demanded that the school remove the book. I know this because I remember hearing my ultra-liberal Democrat teacher bitch and moan about these "evil bigots banning books". Well the school was forced (against its will) to remove Lucky from the library, and from there it was then passed around classrooms at my high school until about a few weeks ago when the District finally 86'd it. Again, I knew about this coming because the same ultra-liberal Democrat union teachers bitched and moaned about those "evil bigoted bastards banning books" again. So, I knew it was coming before the meeting.

What I found shocking was how D5 Board Member - Susan "The Devil" Duval defending this book, which is not only sexually graphic, but features the gory rape of a young girl. Duval found this book 100% suitable for Hernando County School children grades K-12, and ONLY voted to remove it because the author apparently made false accusations against an innocent black male who spent a decade in prison for a crime he never committed.

If you want to see what Duval and her voters support, well here you go!

Enjoy!
