It is essential for democracy, accountability, and the public's right to know. However, press freedom is under threat in many parts of the world, where journalists face harassment, imprisonment, torture, and even murder for doing their job.

To address these challenges and ensure a sustainable future for press freedom, a coalition of freelance media and research organizations has been formed. The Press Freedom Coalition (PFC) aims to bring together global press freedom advocates and provide them with support, resources, and opportunities to collaborate and amplify their voices.
