Have you ever been scrolling through social media and stumbled upon a firearm that you wish you could shoot? That's exactly what happened to me when I came across this custom 1911.

When I saw it, I knew I had to ask to shoot it. Luckily, the owner was based in Austin, not too far from me, and was kind enough to let me borrow it for a range session.

If Blade Runner had a 1911, it might look something like this custom Kimber 1911.

This custom gun is a beautiful marriage between old and new with its classic 1911 silhouette and modern aesthetic accessories.

The gun's aesthetic design is so visually striking that it would look right at home in the Blade Runner universe.

As soon as I saw it, I was blown away by the stunning and gorgeous design.

The suppressor height sights and threaded barrel added to the already impressive look of the gun, and the grips were something else entirely.

They looked like they were straight out of a Blade Runner movie, with lines and patterns that caught your eye every time you looked at them.

I just love the look of this gun.

Every time I looked at it, I noticed something new - a new line, a new pattern.

It's a busy gun, but it works.

And when I see guns that I like the look of, I just have to shoot them.

That's why I drove down to Austin to borrow this custom 1911 and give it a try.

It's not every day that you get to shoot a gun that looks like it belongs in a sci-fi movie, but this one definitely fits the bill.
