Dr. Edward F. Group III, DC was born in Houston, Texas to Joan, a stay at home mom, and Edward Group Jr., a chemist. As a child, Dr. Group, DC excelled at sports and was an avid soccer player. He even led his team to victory at the Texas State Championships.
After his father’s job transfer, young Edward spent his middle and high school years in Louisiana. It was during this time that he developed a profound love of camping, hiking, and the outdoors.

Tragedy struck the Group family when Dr. Group, DC lost both mother and father to cancer. These unfortunate events opened Dr. Group, DC’s eyes to the flaws in our modern medical system, as well as how much we are all exposed to toxic chemicals in our environment.

In 1985, Dr. Group, DC joined the Army and served in Seoul, South Korea. After three years in the military, he left to pursue his calling in health and wellness. The deaths of his parents had a profound, lasting effect on Edward, and he decided to dedicate his life to helping others avoid similar pain by learning how to treat the root cause of disease.
