The New Covenant Week 1 Wednesday

We are starting a new study this month on 'The New Covenant.' Our study begins in the Old Testament to discover what is the basis for the "New Covenant.' In our study this week, we find that there are two types of covenants in the Bible. One type is 'obligatory' or 'law' and the second is 'promissory'. The covenant of 'Noah' is our first stop, and we see that it is a 'promissory type' covenant; from there, we look at the 'Power of Grace' with the 'Abrahamic covenant.' And we see that it also is a 'promissory type covenant.' We will conclude this week with the Lord 'El Shaddai' stating that all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in the 'seed' of Abraham. I look forward to us studying this topic of covenant together.
