Parents got a Hamond L100, literally a piece of furniture. Older bro of six years was getting lessons. I was told that when my feet could reach the peddles, I would also get lessons. Otherwise, don’t touch!

I snuck in one day, Mom was doing dishes. Started playing beer commercials. Thought I was dead meat. But she grabbed me and said, Where did you learn how to do that?!? I got lessons standing up so’s I could push the pedals.
