I don't know if you have ever heard of biblically accurate angels. These are less romantic. They are rather disturbing to many. Beings with multiple faces or wheels full of eyes. The angels do say not to be afraid when they show themselves. But the sight still creates great fear and hardly anyone manages to stand their full glory.
I also want to say beforehand that I am speculating here.
I can't tell if the angels I'm describing here were meant to be exactly like that. I can badly call Ezekiel and ask him. But for me this makes more sense than the theory from Erich von Däniken, who speculates that the visions of Ezekiel describe spaceships of aliens. Nothing against Erich von Däniken, he is a free mind and that is great. But I think his theory is wrong.
The structures which have unfolded before my inner eye fit there quite well. In my visions I saw metaphysical patterns of the highest level of abstraction. Only God stands higher.
