WGA writer on strike says industry contract is ‘no longer relevant’

Members of the Writer’s Guild of America marched on 5th Avenue in New York City Tuesday, blocking the entrance to a building where NBCUniversal was hosting its Newfront Presentation for Peacock. WGA Union Member Judy Tate told a report how the contract that was reached with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers following the 2007 writer’s strike is no longer relevant and needs to be improved.
