Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) announced the revival of the Kids Online Safety Act during a press conference Tuesday. The updated bipartisan proposal, first introduced February 2022, would obligate companies like Google, Meta, and Twitter to act against harmful content, implement time-based restrictions, and provide privacy features for users under 17-years-old.
