The Downfall of Vshojo has Arrived!

On this episode of Vtuber news, detailing the exodus of talent from the Vtuber company, VShojo. Within the past week Vshojo has lost Silvervale, Veibae and later Nyanners. Now the only members that are left are Zentreya, Ironmouse, Projekt Melody, Apricot Froot, Hime Hajime, Kson, Amemiya Nazuna and Haruka Karibu. I will make the argument why these vtubers going indie is the best course of action for Silvervale, Veibae and Nyanners.

VShojo is a US-based VTuber agency based in San Francisco.

The company was founded in 2020 by former Twitch employee Justin "theGunrun" Ignacio and YouTuber Phillip "Mowtendoo" Fortunat, with the vision of creating an organization where the talent have complete freedom. Its goals are to provide members with in-house tech, legal, PR, sponsors, upgrades, opportunities, social media expansion and a positive environment. As of May 2021, the organization has more than 3 million followers on Twitch and 3.5 million subscribers on YouTube.

Unlike most Japan-based VTuber agencies, VShojo mostly recruit existing independent VTubers. VShojo primarily uses Twitch for livestreaming, with YouTube reserved primarily for highlight clips and edited content.

Silvervale (シルバーベール) is an independent English VTuber from The United States of America. She is know for her wholesome and caring personality as well as her sexuality and lewd jokes. Her goal as an entertainer is to create a "cozy" community environment where people can feel safe and happy, away from the stress of daily life. She debuted in 2019 as an independent VTuber, before before joining VShojo in 2020. She left the company in April 2023.

Veibae is a female independent English VTuber based in the UK. She joined VShojo on 9 April 2021 and left on 25 April 2023.

She is a popular English VTuber in the Japanese VTuber community, having translated clips of her with up to 1,500,000 views. Her Twitch streams are marked as 18+ only.

Nyatasha Nyanners, commonly known as Nyanners, is an independent female VTuber, voice actress, and singer. She is well known for her gentle voice and rap music covers. She joined VShojo in 2020 and left the company in April 2023.
