White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said President Joe Biden will not get involved with the Writer’s Guild of America union strike. Jean-Pierre told reporters at a press conference Tuesday that Biden’s policy is to not speak about ongoing union strikes, despite the President having a record of getting involved with similar disputes. Biden touted himself as the “most pro-union president in American history” while delivering remarks at the North America's Building Trades Unions Legislative Conference on April 25.
