Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) demands an FBI investigation into child exploitation and child labor operations involving thousands of unaccompanied alien children (UAC) who have been caught up in child smuggling since President Joe Biden took office. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, around 345,000 minors have crossed the border unaccompanied in 2021. Shockingly, a New York Times report suggests that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has lost contact with 85,000 of these minors. Hawley blames the Biden administration's loosening of border protection policies for this situation.
