Virtual Vanguard’s purpose for this project is to Train entry-level electrical engineers through immersive reality simulations of real-world scenarios on VR headsets.
The primary goal is to Improve Performance by Improving safety and increasing quality of performance. This is done by Reducing accidents, preventing onsite injuries, and navigating potential hazards while also saving time, reducing rework, stopping resource slippage, and helping meet deadlines.
The secondary goal is to Improve Decision Making by Enhancing sustainable electrical competency and supporting leadership growth among the workforce.
The timeline for the deliverable prototype was 6 weeks for a total of 90 hours that finished on March 13th, 2020.
The target market is Entry Level Electrical Engineers with build-outs that can include various other educational applications for all age levels and real-world industries.
The Problem is that Entry-level electrical engineers need a system where they can practice electrical concepts. They also need a system that simulates fieldwork and has conditional requirements demonstrate that the correct process was followed.
The Solution is to create a Certified Training Model that teaches the fundamentals of electrical engineering as an experiential learning activity remotely through immersive reality. Creating various similar and unique scenarios to explore fundamental concepts and expand knowledge with practice in an immersive reality environment would be very beneficial as well.
The Result is the Ability to train electrical competency from anywhere on standalone headsets and also Save users tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
