Nigerians unhappy with Germany’s plan for troop deployment

The German Parliament has approved plans for the country's military to participate in an EU mission in Niger. The move comes in response to risks of violence from neighboring Mali, from which the German armed forces are planning to withdraw next year. We spoke to some residents of Niger who expressed their strong opposition to the deployment of foreign troops in the country.
